Depth Chart Changes

The first depth chart was released on August 2, right before the start of fall camp. The latest one was released earlier tonight. Lets look at the changes.

QB: The first one had Stephen Morris and Ryan Williams as co-starters. The new one has Morris starting and Williams as the backup.

RB: The newest one simply added Dallas Crawford (third) and Duke Johnson (fourth).

FB: no changes

WR: The first one didn't include the true freshmen. The new one has Herb Waters (third on Rashawn Scott's side) and Malcolm Lewis (fourth on Allen Hurns' side) on it. Davon Johnson, who entered fall camp as a cornerback, is now listed behind Hurns and Phillip Dorsett.

TE: no changes

LT: The first one had Benjamin Jones and Taylor Gadbois as tied for the backup job. The new one only lists Jones.

LG: no changes

C: no changes

RG: The first one had Jermaine Johnson as Brandon Linder's backup. The new one lists Danny Isidora and Hunter Wells as co-second teamers.

RT: The first one listed Seantrel Henderson as the starter. The new one lists Ereck Flowers as the starter.

DE: The first one listed Rico Williams and Kelvin Cain as the backups. The new one doesn't include either player and instead lists all four true freshmen.

DT: The first one listed Darius Smith and Curtis Porter as the starters. The new one now lists Porter as Smith's backup and has Olsen Pierre as the other starter. The only freshman listed is Dequan Ivery.

MLB: The first one listed Raphael Kirby as Denzel Perryman's backup. The new one lists Jimmy Gaines as the backup.

OLB: The first one listed Ramon Buchanan and Jimmy Gaines as the starters. The new one lists Buchanan and Thurston Armbrister. The first one listed Eddie Johnson and Gionni Paul as backups. The new one doesn't include them at all and instead lists Tyrone Cornileus and Gabriel Terry.

CB: The first one listed Larry Hope as Brandon McGee's backup. The new one has Tracy Howard in that spot and doesn't list Hope at all. Antonio Crawford was added as a backup to the new one.

S: The first one listed A.J. Highsmith as Kacy Rodgers' backup and the new one has him as Vaughn Telemaque's. Andreu Swasey is no longer listed at all. Deon Bush and Rayshawn Jenkins were added as backups.

PK: no changes

P: no changes

KR: Duke Johnson replaced Crawford as the second guy alongside Dorsett.

PR: Lewis replaced Crawford as the backup to Dorsett. Recommended Stories
