There’s some new highlights from this season up on youtube of four-star running back Alex Collins (Plantation, Fla./South Plantation). Collins, now 5-foot-11 and 205-pounds, has put on 25-pounds of muscle this off-season.
What’s amazing is that Collins looks more explosive than ever. It’s scary just how good this kid is. He has great speed and tremendous athleticism. Collins is so instinctual and runs with great vision and balance. He has an extra gear and burst where he can start, stop and start again and quickly be at full speed. Collins is just a decisive runner.
Collins has committed to the University of Miami and is currently ranked as the No. 13 running back in the nation. Many in the Sunshine State believe he’s the best running back prospect in Florida.
