Bullock to Big East

Bullock to Big East

Three-star forward Rodney Bullock will play his college ball in the Big East.

The Providence Friars are now on the board in the class of 2013. Hampton (Va.) Kecoughtan product Rodney Bullock decided to pull the trigger and issued his commitment to the Big East school.

At 6-foot-7 with long arms, a high motor, and athleticism, Bullock has been on the radar for quite some time. Bullock spent time with both the D.C. Assault and Boo Williams AAU programs, and in that time he found a way to be very productive.

Now he will again be playing on a big stage with Providence as he committed on Wednesday.

"I felt like the players and coaches were family to me," said Bullock. "Instantly I knew I had to be there and it was the right place for me."

Bullock will come in and find time immediately at the power forward position, and also will work to play some small forward as well as he develops his skill set on the perimeter.

This is the first commitment for the Friars in the 2013 class. Bullock is a three-star prospect.
