Griffin Goins (Hollywood, Fla./Hollywood Hills, Fla.) and his team have a big challenge on Thursday as they have South Plantation and five-star running back Alex Collins.

"We will do what we can and I know we just can't focus on him [Alex]," Goins said. "But I know stopping him will play a big part. We have to stop as best we can and play good defense."

Goins, 6-foot-1 and 235-pounds, plays middle linebacker at Hollywood Hills. He says he's a year wiser and that has helped his game.

"It's been a rough season for us because we are rebuilding year with a new coach," Goins said. "But I know I am averaging 10 tackles per game and playing well. That's all I can ask for. My experience has really helped me out and my game against the run and dropping in coverage is getting better."

According to Goins he has scholarship offers from Florida Atlantic and Cincinnati.

"They have offered and I am talking with Wake Forest," Goins said. "They have not offered. I have not set up any official visits and will wait. I am petty open minded right now. I will wait until the end of the season and weigh all options."
