RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State had a season-high eight blocked shots in the first half alone, and finished the game with 11 blocks, the most since the Pack had 13 against Tennessee Tech on 11/12/10.

• The total of 11 blocks ties the sixth most in school history.

• NC State has 25 blocks in its last three games (7 vs. Cleveland State and Norfolk State and 11 vs. Stanford).

• Junior Lorenzo Brown tied his career-high 24 points. He set the benchmark in an 87-81 victory over Campbell on Dec. 29, 2011. His field goals made (9) tied his career high versus Elon on Nov. 25, 2011 in an 82-67 win. His field goals attempted (15) was a season high.

• Senior Richard Howell now has five double-doubles in the Wolfpack’s last six games and six on the season. That’s the most since J.J. Hickson had 10 double-doubles in 2007-08, his only season with the Wolfpack. Both Hickson and Howell are from Marietta, Ga., and played at Wheeler High School. Howell now has 19 career double-doubles, which is the most since Kenny Inge had 23 from 1999-2001. Howell also played in a career high 39 minutes against the Cardinal.

• Junior C.J. Leslie extended his streak of double-figure scoring games to six games with 16 points.

• The Wolfpack entered the game leading all Division I NCAA teams in field goal percentage at 52.7 percent. The Pack shot a sizzling 56.1 percent in the game to improve on that number.

• For the eighth time this season, the Pack had at least four players score in double figures. NC State is 7-1 in those games.

• Scott Wood hit five 3-pointers in the first half, increasing his career total to 254 in his four seasons with the Pack. His 15 points in the first half matched his season high, set on Nov. 16 in a 94-76 victory over Massachusetts in Puerto Rico Tip-Off. He finished with a new season high of 17 points. With his next 3-pointer, Wood will move into the ACC’s top 20 in career 3-point baskets made. Wood had 15 points in the first half, all on 3-pointers, but two free throws only in the second half.

• NC State made 19 of 27 free throws on the night, which ties for second most on the season.

• NC State is now 15-12 versus the Pac-12 and 1-1 in its series with Stanford.

• NC State extended its winning streak to four games, its longest since winning six consecutive games last year (Dec. 20, 2011-Jan.8, 2012).

• Head coach Mark Gottfried is now 2-1 all-time in games versus Stanford. He guided Alabama to an upset of the top-seeded Cardinal, 70-67, in the 2004 NCAA Tournament.
