Hoops: Miami 77, Charlotte 46

The University of Miami Men's Basketball team defeated Charlotte today by the score of 77-46.

Playing in front of 3.275 fans, Miami had its biggest margin of victory of the season today with its 31-point win over previously unbeaten Charlotte.

Kenny Kadji was Miami's leading scorer, with 17 points, in a game where the Hurricanes never trailed. Durand Scott was probably Miami's top overall performer, with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Chris Braswell, who scored 13 points, was the leading scorer for Charlotte, which had its nine-game winning streak to start the season snapped.

Scott, Kadji, Trey McKinney Jones, Reggie Johnson, and Shane Larkin were the starters for the Hurricanes for the third straight game.

The Canes are now 6-1 on the season, and will travel to Orlando Tuesday to take on Central Florida.
