"The campus sells itself and the coaches are just great people. When I got up here, it just felt like I was supposed to be up here."
The Coral Reef (Miami, FL) standout committed to Florida State last summer before deciding to open things back up in November. Clemson has been high on his list all along and that interest strengthened even more after he got on campus.
"It was a lot of fun, I got to know some of the other players Clemson is recruiting," he said.
"I talked to Coach (Jeff) Scott and Coach (Brent) Venables. The whole time I was talking to them I was just telling them that I liked it up here and that I'll be back up in the summer to do the camp and also be around the coaches and get to know them a lot more."
The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver knows he made the decision to commit to Florida State a little too quickly. While he plans to wait awhile before making another decision, right now Clemson is the team to beat.
"They still stand at number one. Clemson is just a great school. I want to make sure next time I commit there won't be a decommittment, I want to stick it out with that school," he said.
"Clemson so far is my number one. I just want to get to know the school a lot more and build a better bond with the coaches."
