One of the schools recruiting the 6-foot-6, 200-pound Litton is Rutgers, which is in contact with his coach and is communicating regularly with Litton.
"I'm going to hit some camps in the summer, and that is going to be one I am going to try to hit," Litton said. "I'm interested in them. I'm a fan of what they do, and I've seen some of their games."
One game that stuck out to Litton was Rutgers' loss to Virginia Tech in the Russell Athletic Bowl. It was a game in which the Scarlet Knights did not score an offensive touchdown and struggled to move the ball on offense throughout the game.
"I watched their bowl," Litton said. "I think there are some things I can help them out, and I'm interested in helping them out."
Litton completed 181 of 310 passes for 2,732 yards, 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a junior.
In addition to camping at Rutgers, he will throw for Scarlet Knights quarterbacks coach Rob Spence during the spring evaluation period. He holds offers from South Florida and Western Michigan, which offered Thursday, and he was offered as a sophomore by LSU.
"I like that USF is close, and if I wind up going there all my friends and family can watch them go play," Litton said. "They have new facilities and I like the atmosphere so far. But I'm going to wait it out see what other opportunities I can get."
