Sophomore LB suspended indefinitely

Posted Apr 19, 2013

University of Miami sophomore linebacker Gabe Terry was arrested Friday morning on drug charges. He's now suspended from the team.

Gabe Terry has been removed from Miami's official roster, which isn't a good sign for his future with the program.

A three-star recruit out of Palm Beach Central High in the Class of 2012, Terry played in seven games as a true freshman last season.

Terry, 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, finished his first year with five tackles and a blocked punt that came against Virginia Tech.

Terry becomes the second Hurricane linebacker to be suspended this offseason. Eddie Johnson is the other, and he's already enrolled at Hinds Community College.

Stay tuned for more on the Terry situation.
