Canes land WR commitment

The University of Miami landed a wide receiver commitment today, following their summer camp.

Darrell Langham committed to the Miami Hurricanes today, following an afternoon spent on campus for this weekend's summer camp.

At 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, Langham was recruited by UM receivers coach Brennan Carroll.

"He's a funny guy, he helps out a lot. When I went out to the camp, he helped me with certain routes he wanted me to perfect, to perfect my stance as a receiver, to get lower, to get more speed and become more explosive off the ball," Langham told Scout about his relationship with the UM coach.

Langham, who is also a standout basketball player, put his name on the recruiting map with a strong junior season. He finished with just eight catches but finished it with 211 yards and two touchdowns.

Langham claims other offers from schools like Arkansas, Illinois, and Mississippi State. He grew up a Canes fan. Recommended Stories
