Khairi Clark (Florida), Justin Jones (North Carolina State), and Daniel Gresham (Louisville) all had Miami offers and just committed to other programs.
Clark, 6-foot-3 and 310 pounds, is the bigges name of the group. The Hollywood (Fla) Chaminade standout is rated as Scout's No. 2 defensive tackle prospect nationally. He grew up a Miami fan but pledged to the Gators over the weekend. The Hurricanes, who already have two defensive tackle prospects committed, seem to be recruiting other players just as hard, if not harder, at the position.
Jones, 6-foot-2 and 265 pounds, is a three-star defensive tackle prospect from Georgia. Miami offered him back in the spring but he chose North Carolina State over Miami and several other schools today.
Gresham, 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, is a one-time Texas commitment. One of the top running back prospects in the state of Texas, Gresham landed an offer from the Hurricanes back in the spring. Surprisingly, Gresham committed to Louisville today.
It remains to be seen whether the Hurricane coaches will continue actively recruiting any of these three players but all three have been removed from the Recruiting Big Board.
