Four incoming freshmen started school back in January and went through the spring semester with the team. Those four players were tight end Standish Dobard, offensive lineman Sunny Odogwu, offensive lineman Hunter Knighton, and linebacker Alex Figueroa.
Five more freshmen enrolled last month when the first summer semester started. Those five players, who have gone through workouts with the team since their arrival, are running back Ray Lewis, offensive lineman Alex Gall, linebacker Jermaine Grace, cornerback Artie Burns, and safety Jamal Carter.
Today, five more incoming freshmen started classes here and will begin to go through workouts with the rest of the team. Those five players are quarterback Kevin Olsen, running back Augustus Edwards, running back Cornelius Elder, wide receiver Stacy Coley, and linebacker Walter Tucker.
That leaves five players who have not yet qualified for enrollment from the 2013 class. Those five players are wide receiver Derrick Griffin, tight end Ryheem Lockley, defensive end Devante Bond, defensive lineman Ufomba Kamala, and defensive end Alquadim Muhammad. All five players will have approximately two more months to gain admission to start school in the fall. The team officially reports for fall camp the first week of August.
If the five high school players who aren't here yet don't qualify before the start of classes in August, they'll likely spend a semester at a prep school. If the Junior College prospects don't make it, they'll likely enroll at another NCAA school.
