Canes sign series with Arkansas State

Posted Jun 28, 2013

The University of Miami announced today that it has signed a deal with Arkansas State for a home-and-home series.

"We have signed a home-and-home agreement with the Arkansas State Red Wolves," a UM spokesman said on Friday.

ASU will play at Sun Life Stadium in 2014, while the Canes will travel there for a game on Sept 9, 2017.

ASU is fresh off one of its best seasons in school history in 2012. They finished the regular season 9-3 and then defeated Kent State in the Bowl.

The Hurricanes are now scheduled to play non-conference games against Arkansas State, Florida A&M, and Nebraska in 2014. The fourth and final opponent has not yet been determined.
