After posting 926 yards and nine touchdowns on 52 receptions in 2012, Tavares Martin put his name on a lit of recruiting lists.
He starting picking up scholarship offers late in 2012 and he now has a long list.
"I am not sure how many offers I have, but I know Florida State, Michigan State, Miami, Florida, West Virginia, South Florida, UCF, and some other schools have offered me," said Martin. "I have over 10 offers I know."
FSU was the school Martin followed closely growing up, but he has not visited Tallahassee yet this fall. He may be there for the Miami game early in November.
A school a little closer to home is Miami and the 6-foot-2, 170 pound wideout visited UM when it played Florida.
The visit went "well" for Martin and "the atmosphere" stood out to him.
Martin mentioned schools like FSU, Miami, Ohio State (No offer), and Oregon (No offer) as schools of interest, but he has no favorites at this time.
"I am open right now," Martin said. "I am looking at all the schools. I have some great offers now and schools like California, Georgia, and USC are showing a lot of interest too. I want to see who else offers before I start making a list."
The star out of Lake Worth, Fla. is will evaluate each school, check out their roster for receivers, and most of all, who puts the most in the NFL.
"My dream is to get to the NFL and that is very important to me. I want to see how the coaches at the schools coach, and who can help prepare me for the NFL is very important to me."
