Blades Foundation To Host Fundraiser

Former Hurricane greats, including Melvin Bratton, Kenny Calhoun, Gino Torretta, Danny Stubbs and many others from over the years, will take the field for the first time as one Hurricane family and compete in a game of flag football at Lockhart Stadium in Broward County. The game is set to begin 2:00pm on March 20th and gates will open at 12:30 PM.

The Blades Foundation is hosting this former Hurricane reunion with the intention of raising funds to benefit the Al Blades Scholarship Fund and the University of Miami Scholarship Endowment.

The event promises to be filled with plenty of action and lots of fun both on and off of the field. In addition to the game, enjoy this chance to collect autographs, purchase Hurricane merchandise and 2004 Hurricane season tickets, and meet and greet with current and former Hurricane football players.
