Practice Report: August 10th

The Miami Hurricanes began fall practices today in shorts and it was open to the public. Practices will be open and free to the public until August 20th. Some of the good things today were the passing game and the quickness of the defense.

"I thought it was a good first day," said head coach Larry Coker. "We made some plays today. I thought the efficiency was better than what you would hope. They were running around in shorts so they should be efficient. It was hot and humid and a couple guys getting cramps. Coker commented on freshmen having to come in and play well.
