August 2002 Issue
Opponent Preview
The 'Canes face arguably the toughest schedule in the country this fall. No Miami team has ever repeated and, for this team to be the first, they'll have to go through a gauntlet of a schedule. We'll break down each opponent.
Offensive Preview
Ken Dorsey and Andre Johnson are back to lead an explosive Hurricane offense another year. We'll preview the entire offense position by position.
Defensive Preview
This year's defense returns a dominant front seven lead by William Joseph and Jonathan Vilma. The entire secondary has to be replaced but is very talented and hungry to prove they will not be a weakness.
K Todd Sievers Profile
After being diagnosed with diabetes his sophomore year, Todd Sievers has not only adjusted but has thrived in his career at Miami. We'll profile his career thus far at Miami and reveal some interesting goals he has for the 2002 campaign.
Q & A with head coach Larry Coker
Coach talks about a variety of issues and looks ahead to the 2002 campaign with us. He talks about the keys for this year's success as well as what his recruiting priorities are for the upcoming class. Overall he touches on many issues from recruiting to Hurricane players in the NFL.
Recruit Profile - Bryan Pata
This standout defensive tackle has already committed to the Canes and could continue a long list of dominant defensive linemen at Miami. We'll profile him and let you know why he decided on the Hurricanes so early in the recruiting process.
