DT Brown to the Patriots

The New England Patriots drafted Hurricanes with their first two selections in the 2007 NFL Draft. It was the first time in franchise history they have chosen teammates with their first two picks.

Defensive tackle Kareem Brown was selected in the fourth round by the Patriots as he joined teammate Brandon Meriweather, a first-round draft pick who was selected 24th overall.
