Gameday is here and the Canes will take on UCF at 3:45 this afternoon. The writers of CanesTime.com offer their predictions on the game.

DAVID VILLACICENCIO:

The Hurricanes will finally break their losing streak and get back to .500 on the season. UCF has talent and is well coached but they have been struggling this season. Miami needs to get the ball in the hands of playmakers like Graig Cooper and Travis Benjamin and let them put points on the board. The defense needs to limit third down conversions and take advantage of any mistakes the Knights make. Finally, Miami needs to finish the game off strong. They cannot hold back and give UCF hope.

Miami 24 UCF 17

MIKE BAKAS:

It'll be interesting to see which Miami team shows up on Saturday. Will it be the one clicking on all cylinders like the Texas A&M game or the first half against North Carolina. Or will it be one that lets UCF hang in the game. The same goes for UCF -- will the team that took USF into overtime show up or will be the team that got blasted against UTEP? After Charleston Southern and Texas A&M, UCF will be the worst defensive team the Canes have faced so far this season so scoring points should not be too difficult. The Knights can score a little on offense but they simply don't have the playmakers as Miami's last four opponents.

Canes 34, UCF 17
