Bryce Brown made a very early commitment to the University of Miami last spring and has remained committed to the Hurricanes ever since. Listed as a soft commitment because of visits he's since taken to Oregon, Missouri, and Clemson, Brown was a standout performer all week at the US Army All-American practices.
The game took place on Saturday afternoon and Brown showed everyone why many people consider him to be the nation's number one overall player.
Brown was named co-MVP of the game along with quarterback Tajh Boyd. He carried the ball six times for 44 yards and had two receptions for 101 yards and two scores.
Brown, Scout.com's No. 1-rated running back prospect, plans to take his official visit to Miami in January. While the announcers at the game claimed Brown hasn't "declared" his college commitment yet, he has -- and did almost a year ago.
Brown's brother, Arthur, is a freshman linebacker at Miami and will have a good chance of winning a starting spot next season.
