Post-Game: Damien Berry

Read on to see what running back Damien Berry was saying following the most productive game of his college career.

On his performance…
"I just want to thank the coaches and the o-line for blocking for me and the coaches for believing in me and helping me do what I have to do when I am on the field. "

On running hard every time he touched the ball…
"The o-line was blocking great. Every time they were moving them [FAMU defense] back. It's always great when the o-line is pushing them five yards back. I give all the credit to them."

On getting more of an opportunity to play:
"I go in every week preparing to get ready to play and an opportunity to get better. I thank the coaches for everything they have done to get me to this point and prepare me to be ready to play in the game."

On his first career carry…
"I was real nervous. My heart was going 150 mph but after I got in, I got used to it and everything went great. Once again I want to thank my o-line."

On all the talent in front of him at running back…
"Anything the coaches want me to play I will play it. We have great people in front of me like Lee Chambers, Graig Cooper and Javarris James. We're all great running backs. We've got a whole stable of running backs."

On quarterback AJ Highsmith…
"He's calm. We just feed off the quarterback and follow his lead. He had everything under control."
