Five players now done for the season

Three more Hurricanes just had season-ending surgery. Read on for the latest.

Freshmen Gavin Hardin and Shayon Green were lost for the season back in the preseason. Now the list of players unavailable for the rest of the season is at five.

According to the University, senior Ryan Hill, sophomore Jordan Futch, and freshman Dyron Dye have undergone season-ending surgery and are done for the year.

Dye was expected to redshirt anyway in his first year. Look for Hill to receive a medical redshirt and return to the secondary next season. Futch had been playing some, including having started a game, so look for other backup linebackers like Arthur Brown and Ramon Buchanan to get more reps in his place.
