On improvements:
Really blocking and finishing and just flying around.
On his weight:
I’m really about the same. I lost about five pounds. I’m feeling better than I was last year. My body can carry the weight better. I’m about 210.
On Jacory throwing to Hankerson last season:
He was the one stepping up and having fun. We gotta take it one play at a time. That communication me and Jacory has is still there.
On the backup quarterbacks:
They’re young but they’re coming along. We gotta give them time to adjust to the system. They’re looking real good right now.
On the competition at WR:
There’s no competition. All of us have been together for three years now so we should know how everyone plays. No matter who starts, we’re gonna come compete and have fun.
On where he’s playing:
I’m playing the slot and the outside. I’m trying to get everything down blocking. That’s probably why they’re rotating us. It’s working out alright. As long as I know the routes, I’m alright.
On why they’re being moved around:
Injuries, just in case someone goes down. We gotta know what we got do to.
On if there’s a better WR group anywhere else:
Not that I know of. We have speed, size, great hands, and we compete against each other to get us great.
On the RB’s:
Awesome. All of them. We got one (Lamar Miller) in track. Storm Johnson’s looking real good. He brings a lot of energy, real fast, nice kid. When his name gets called, he’s real excited about running the ball or block. He makes us feel like we should be on the same page that he’s on.
