Fox goes in Round 4

Jason Fox, a four-year started at left tackle for the Hurricanes, was selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft today by the Detroit Lions.

Jason Fox came to Miami out of Texas and didn't take long to make an impact. A starter since his freshman season, Fox started more games than any linean in school history.

On Saturday, the Detroit Lions used the 30th pick of the 4th round (128 overall) to select the former Hurricane.

Fox, 6-foot-7 and 305 pounds, became Miami's third player drafted. Tight end Jimmy Graham was a third round selection and linebacker Darryl Sharpton was selected earlier in the fourth round. Recommended Stories
