| Brown may be the best linebacker in his class. He is very explosive of initiating contact with the ball carrier as he is taking the hand off. He is outstanding in pursuit, moves as well laterally as any linebacker in the nation. Great read and react backer with a very quick first step. Can cover well and can handle man-to-man coverage assignments on running backs and tight ends. Brown is a finisher. When he hits you, you go no further. |

| Last season as a junior Brown had 158 tackles, eight sacks and an interception. He claims to bench 315 pounds, squat 455 and power clean 235. He ran a 4.47 forty at an Oklahoma camp.
Brown reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 17 ACT - no retake necessary.
Brown: “My reaction time, speed and strength are my strong points. The game of football is all about speed. When I get on the field, I know where every guy is and I know what has to be done and I get it done. I study the game. The more you know, the more of an edge you have.
“In college, speed is everything. I’m fast, but I want to be faster, so I work on my speed everyday. I’m trying to improve reading the blocking a bit faster too. I’m a perfectionist, so I challenge myself all the time. I have to push myself in every way to rise to the challenge of college ball, but I know what I have to do and I’m ready for it.”
