| He plays quarterback in high school now and does a tremendous job of leading his team. He's a tremendous leader who flat out knows how to win. He has tremendous football instincts, regardless of what position he's playing. Many project him to be a receiver or cornerback in college because of his size (6-0/190) and speed (10.7 100m kid at the state meet). Robinson passed for 1,809 yards and scored 15 touchdowns during his senior season. He rushed for 462 yards and scored another eight touchdowns. He was named FSWA 6A Second Team All-State, First Team All-Broward County, Mobile Press Register's Super Southeast 120.
Denard Robinson was named Third Team All-State Quarterback by the FSWA (6A) his junior season, 2007. He was also named First Team All-Broward by the Miami Herald.
The junior passed for 1,936 yards and rushed for 428 yards. 17 total touchdowns.
Robinson led his Deerfield Beach team against the talent laden USA Today's #1 and Florida 6A Champion Miami Northwestern (2007) in 19-14 loss in the state semi-finals. Robinson was stopped just short of the end zone on a fourth down play.
Robinson says he can bench 315-pounds and squat 405. Robinson also has a 36-inch vertical jump. Robinson is also a track star, running both the 100m (10.3 personal best) and the 200m. "Georgia and Florida are also recruiting me for track," he said. "If I go there I'll probably do both sports."

Robinson is unsure of what he plans to major in, but reports a 2.9 core GPA and a 19 ACT.
Robinson: "I'm a playmaker. I like having the ball and can make things happen. On defense I have the same kind of mentality. I'm very aggressive and love stripping the ball or going after a pick.
"But I still want to get bigger and bulk up. I want to be more physical and prepare better."
