| Displays perhaps the best body control of RBs in the class of '09. Stays square to defense and is always over feet. Often gets hit behind the LOS but rarely gets tackled. Has incredible balance and even better instincts. Lateral movement is excellent and he gets back to full speed quickly. James rushed for 965 yards on 204 carries scoring 10 touchdowns with only one fumble. He caught eight passes for 66 yards and returned two kicks for 133 yards and a touchdown. The senior had nine tackles on defense with five of them solo.
He was named The Ledger's All County First Team RB, Press Register's Super Southeast 120, FSWA Third Team All-State Honorable Mention.
As a junior James rushed for 1,100 yards and had a combined 15 touchdown’s rushing/receiving. |
