In this final position by position look at the Class of 2004 we look at a defensive back class that had some serious star power when they left high school. The biggest star of the class however was a player that was nowhere near the radar back in 2004 but ended up being an all-American and a first round draft choice.

How They Looked at the Beginning: Adrian Peterson and Rhett Bomar were widely considered for a while to be the top college prospects at their respective positions in 2004, but it was a twist of fate that led to Drew Kelson of Houston Lamar becoming the safety prospect in America.
